A public house built in 1900, named after Prince Albert. It was built in the Renaissance style. It's close to Wolverhampton Station and the Wolverhampton Interchange. The Wolverhampton Station Metro extension goes past the pub, and it now faces the i9 office development.

The Prince Albert - history

A public house built in 1900 of brick with ashlar dressings.

Was named after the widowed Queen Victoria's late husband Prince Albert.

Was built in the Renaissance style.

It was granted Grade II listed building status in 1992.

A car park used to be opposite the pub until 2018.

The i9 development, part of the Wolverhampton Interchange was built opposite from 2019 until about 2021.

Fryer Street Car Park is now the closest car park to the pub.

But of course it can be reached by bus, train and tram.
